Government set up: After the Han dynasty collapsed soon to be emperor of the Sui dynasty, Wendi,  took little time to conquer the newly empty land. This dynasty only lasted through two emperors however it set up important framework for the next two empires. The Sui set up a strong central government as well as creating many building projects.

 

Rise to power:Building projects provided jobs and money to sui citizens as well as protection and trade routes. This resulted in them being able to last as long as they did. While these all seem like good ideas they resulted in the raising of taxes.

Fall: As taxes increased so did the peoples anger people and they rebelled.
